Located just behind Kelvedon High Street, this traditional housing scheme proposes the demolition of a former centre to provide 25no. new homes within easy walking distance to local amenities and transport links. The development will deliver a wide mix of housing ranging from 1 and 2-bedroom apartments to 3, 4 and 5-bedroom family-sized houses, due to complete late 2018. While working closely with Braintree's Planning Department, we designed a high-quality scheme to make best use of this backland site without causing harmful impact to neighbouring properties, with an organic layout which reflects the historic character of the village.
